In addition, the top 10 contestants in the final round will receive attractive cash prizes. The top 3 contestants from Bangladesh will have the opportunity to participate in the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) for University Students 2027. To ensure their participation, the A. F. Mujibur Rahman Foundation will provide financial support, while the Bangladesh Mathematical Society will provide overall support and coordination.
The problems will cover the three broad areas: Algebra, Analysis (Real and Complex), and Geometry
and Combinatorics. The working language of the Olympiad is English.
Algebra: Polynomials and algebraic equations; Summation of algebraic and trigonometric series; Inequalities; Linear Algebra (Matrices and Determinants, Basis and Dual basis, Linear transformations, Eigen system, Diagonalization, Annihilators, Inner Product Spaces, Adjoints, Operators, Orthogonality, Applications); Elementary Group Theory.
Analysis (Real & Complex): Infinite series and sequences of numbers and functions; Convergence Analysis; Continuity and Differentiability; Mean Value and Taylor’s Theorems, Integration, and their applications; Complex Differentiation and Integration.
Geometry and Combinatorics: Permutations and Combinations; Primes; Arithmetic functions; Congruence; Recurrence relations; Generating functions; Polytopes and Simplicial Complexes.
